Clare Donnelly - News & Features
Claire is a senior writer for the Daily Mirror, responsible for Northern features. She has also been a commissioning editor on the Mirror’s features desk, and worked for a variety of titles, including Closer, Take A Break and The Nottingham Evening Post and has even worked as a newsreader on L!ve TV.

Since 2004 Claire has been based in the Mirror’s Manchester office, covering subjects as diverse as human interest and charity stories, seeting up a shoot with Coronation Street stars or reporting on news events.

Claire is an experienced celebrity interviewer, whose subjects include Pavarotti and Shaun Ryder, and is highly experienced in both regional and national news and features.

Andrew Bailey - Radio News
Award-winning journalist and broadcaster Andrew is currently head of news at Virgin Radio. He has worked for stations including Radio City in Liverpool, Key 103 Manchester, BBC Breakfast News, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, London Tonight and Century FM in Manchester.His television appearances include This Morning, The Time The Place, London Tonight, Granada Tonight, Ask Us and Eggheads.

Andrew won Newcomer of the Year at Radio City in 1999, and was also part of the team to win the 'NTL Commercial Radio Newsteam of the Year' Award in June 2000. Andrew was also nominated for National News Broadcaster of the Year at the 2004, 2005 and 2007 British Radio Awards. He led Virgin Radio to international success at the New York Festival Radio Awards in 2007 where the team won the 'Silver World Medal' for breaking news coverage. Andrew is an experienced media trainer and lectures in broadcast journalism at City University in London.

Andrew Bailey
Peter Everett - Factual Programming
Peter Everett is a multiple Sony award winning radio producer, whose many documentary and features series for Radio 4 include Great Lives, A Good Read and Feedback. He pioneered montage documentary, and in the 90s was the Head Of Network Radio, BBC South, rebuilding the department as a specialist digital production unit covering literary output, history and general programming for Radios 3 and 4. Prior to this he managed Network Radio BBC Midlands and East, and oversaw programming including The Archers, Drama, Religion, Sport, Radio 2 music, Radio 3 concerts, Radio 4 features and Radio 5 magazine programmes.

He is now freelance, and works mainly for Radio 4, but also contributes to Sony-Award winning independent production company All Out. Peter is an experienced broadcast trainer, and has lectured extensively on broadcast journalism in Britain and abroad. He is a successful author whose books include “You’ll Never Be 16 Again”, which accompanied his Radio 4/Radio 1 series of the same name, and he has recently written, produced and directed the play Red Elvis for Radio 4. He is also a Director of media consultancy Peterloo Productions.

Jonathan Thompson - Mens Magazines
Jonathan Thompson is a men's lifestyle writer and editor specialising in health, fitness, travel, adventure and extreme sports.He spent eight years at The Independent on Sunday, where he was given his first column at the age of 21 before spending a number of years as a staff news reporter. He went on to write over 1,000 articles across all sections of the newspaper and its sister publication, The Independent, ranging from front page news to major celebrity interviews.

Jonathan spent six months as a freelancer working for publications ranging from Men's Health magazine to the Mail on Sunday, London Lite to the Glasgow Herald, as well as a number of foreign publications. In October 2007, he joined the staff of Men's Health as Commissioning Editor and Senior Writer.

Jon Bennett - TV & Monthlies
National newspapers, magazines, TV and radio - Jon Bennett has worked in virtually every area of the media during his career. From devising and editing national magazines to working as News Editor on ITV’s Evening News, he is a genuine all-rounder with a uniquely varied CV.

Jon began his career working as a 17-year-old reporter for his local paper and combined his time at university with working for music magazines Mojo and Q.

He went on to work as an award-winning reporter in his native North-East before moving to Melbourne for a year. On his return to London he became News Editor of Mojo and contributed to GQ, The Sunday Times, Q and appeared as a pundit on several BBC radio programmes. He joined Sky News as a Deputy News Editor before moving on to Tonight With Trevor McDonald. In 2003 Jon devised and edited Q Glastonbury, the first magazine in history to review a festival within 7 hours of the final curtain. He then worked at ITN as News Editor on ITV News before joining Sky News as obituaries producer, which he currently combines with contributing to The Observer, The Sunday Times, The Mail Weekend Magazine, Classic Rock, Mojo, Q and Classic Rock.

She regularly contributes articles to magazines and newspapers and has been Cosmo's sex therapist since 2003. She is the author of The Single Parents’ Handbook (Pearson).

Rachel is a member of National Hypno-psychotherapy Council and practices in accordance with UKCP Code of Ethics. She attained her Diploma in Hypnosis & Psychotherapy (DHP) in 1995. Since qualifying, she has worked in clinical practice both privately and for the NHS.
